Others

Not all who walk this land are of this world.

Others are ancient beings from the unseen realms - spirits, shapeshifters and forgotten souls.

They dwell in the cracks between stone and shadow, in mists, in mountains, and in places time does not touch. They are not evil, nor good.

They are as old as the land itself

Stories of beings beyond the human world have always belonged to the landscapes of the North. Some protect. Some warn. Some tempt. Others simply watch.

The Others grew from that idea

They are not gods to be worshipped, heroes to be celebrated or monsters to be defeated. They represent something less certain - forces that exist around us and within us. Memory. Instinct. Desire. Fear. Hope. The things that follow humanity wherever it goes.

Each has its own nature and its own purpose. Some may help us. Others may lead us somewhere we did not intend to go -- and perhaps that distinction depends entirely on who encounters them.

For Jónsson & Jensson, the Others are a new mythology inspired by the old idea that the world contains more than what we can see. Their stories are deliberately incomplete. Like fragments of folklore, some things are explained and others are left in the shadows.

Over time, we will tell more of their stories.

For now, it is enough to know that they are here.
